Today in one of my Reading classes, I was going over the new vocab words for our new story, and as I was explaining the word CONVINCE, one of my students was really trying to understand the meaning of the word, so she asks...
"You mean like we convince God?" Obviously, she was a little off.
Everyone else started to chime in...talking about God and other beliefs ( these are 2nd graders). Then, this little girl speaks up and meekly says...
"I think there is a God."
My heart smiled.
